CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR WORKSHOP AND RELATED SERVICES FOR THE GHANA INTEGRATED ALUMINIUM DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

Consultancy Services for Workshop and Related Services for the Ghana Integrated Aluminium Development Corporation

(Hatch Engineering of Canada as main consultant and ISL as local partner) The project involves the preparation of strategic framework reports for the Ghana Integrated Aluminium Development Corporation (GIADEC) towards the development of Ghana’s Integrated Bauxite and Aluminium industry.
1. Collation of asset list for all assets related to aluminium industry within Ghana with relevant technical details;
2. Collation of current status of all relevant infrastructure such as ports, railway and rolling stock, roads, power sources, raw material availability, labour and educational sources, etc..
3. Identification of overall strategy GIADEC wishes to employ for development of the industry;
4. Facilitation of three day workshop centered around development of all aspects of the industry from bauxite mining, transportation, alumina refining, aluminium reduction, downstream facilities, recycling and waste product reuse;
5. Production of master plans illustrating, on a mapped output, the state of development of the aluminium industry over future timeframes .
